Voices from #TalkJustice

The #TalkJustice Project brings a public voice to the center of justice reform in Nova Scotia. It engages community members in justice reform by collecting first-hand experiences from individuals who interact with the justice system in the province. #TalkJustice gathers feedback for governments, researchers and community justice organizations to draw from when conducting research & making policy and funding decisions.

#TalkJustice Reports

Between October 2018 and December 2019, the Access to Justice and Law Reform Institute met with 62 service providers and 200 Nova Scotians living across the province. These reports share what was learned with #TalkJustice participants.

#TalkJustice Stories

The #TalkJustice Project collected 440 stories from citizens and residents of Nova Scotia. The stories cover issues related to family justice, systemic discrimination, the structure of the justice system, and self-representation in the courts.
